Job Description

We are looking for an individual with knowledge, skills and experience to help others, lead and sustain a fully independent life. You will be working with people with learning disabilities and those leaving care.  

Promotional opportunities are available as we are expanding at a great pace and looking to set up a new division within domicillary care service soon.

You will be working as a project worker, assisting 16+ year olds into independent living. You will be visiting people in their own homes and working within the semi-independent living homes, assisting with access to local services, welfare and benefits advice and general support.

Part of a small team dedicated to providing an excellent service.

Main duties will include:

- Promoting Independence
- Producing Reports
- Empowerment
- Benefits and Education Advice
- Organizing and Participating in Social Activities/Work/Education

The ideal candidate will:

• Be car driver with a full driving license
• Have experience of working with young persons with challenging behaviour and emotional needs
• Preferably have a full, enhanced CRB dated within the last 6 months 
• Be available immediately
• Be flexible and a team player
• Good communication skills and be approachable and reliable.
